The Chapter & Verse Book Club will meet on Thursday, October 21 at 7:00 in the evening to discuss As Easy As Falling Off the Earth, by Lynne Rae Perkins, and Sit-In: How Four Friends Stoop Up by Sitting Down, by Brian Pinkney and Andrea Davis Pinkney.

Vicki Palmquist of the Children's Literature Network leads this book club from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. During our last half-hour, bring another book for children or teens about kids on a journey or young people involved in protests. If you'd like to join us, please reserve a chair by contacting Nancy Caffoe, manager and children's book buyer at The Bookcase. At 8:30, feel free to look around the store, taking advantage of the 25% discount on your entire purchase offered to book club participants between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm on the evening of the book club.
