Start: 7:00 pm
The Bookcase is pleased to welcome  Sally Kerry Edstrom to our store on Thursday, March 11 at 7:00 p.m.Ms. Edstrom will be here to read from, discuss, and sign copies of her book Got Up Done Morning Work.Thejourney began in 1901 and ended in 2007. The journal ofeighteen-year-old Minnie Rose Morgan was retraced by her granddaughterSally and great-great-granddaughter Amanda. It started with them takinga four day covered wagon trek in Nebraska. With the temperature overone hundred degrees and lots of dust, the appreciated what "got up donemorning work" really meant. Retracing Minnie's journal was full ofsurprises as they wondered what landmarks, if any, still survived afterone hundred years.
