The Bookcase is pleased to welcome Terry Hitchcock, author of A Father's Odyssey, to our store at 7:00 on Thursday, March 4. Mr. Hitchcock will be on hand to read from, discuss, and sign copies of his book. In 1996, at the age of 57, Terry Hitchcock ran the equivalent of 75 consecutive marathons in 75 consecutive days. He travelled over 2,000 miles to bring awareness to the financial and emotional hardships faced by single parents and their children -- everyday heroes who run quiet, yet extraordinary, daily marathons.
