Start: 7:00 pm
John Hagerman will be at The Bookcase on Tuesday, December 1 at 7:00 p.m. to read from, discuss, and sign copies of his book The Inspired Elf: 101 Ways to Keep the Spirit of Santa Alive. John Hagerman loves Christmas and has made it his mission in life to keep the Spirit of Santa Alive. One of his favorite memories is sitting at the top of the stairs with his brothers on Christmas morning waiting for his mother to tell them it was okay to come down. Every Christmas they would finally go downstairs and be overwhelmed by the sparkling lights of the tree, the carefully arranged packages and the overflowing stockings. John loved the anticipation and he loved the feeling of being swept up in something truly magical. When John had kids of his own, his mother finally revealed her secrets to making Christmas so memorable, despite the fact she had little money to spend and three sons to raise on her own. Her example inspired his mission to help discover fresh ways to keep the hope and joy of Christmas and the magic of Santa living and vibrant for everyone. | 2
