An Evening with Chris Bohjalian and Stephen Kiernan - July 12

The Bookcase is thrilled to invite you to a special evening with Chris Bohjalian and Stephen Kiernan on July 12 at 6:30 p.m. Chris is back in Wayzata to promote his new book, The Light in the Ruins, and he is bringing his good friend, author Stephen Kiernan, who has a new thriller out called The Curiosity. Both books would make perfect additions to your summer reading list!

A wine and hors d'oeuvres reception with the authors will begin at 6:30 and the book talk will start at 7:00 p.m.

We will also be raffling off some great prizes to customers who purchase either book at The Bookcase.

June 19 - Ogre Storytime

Come hang out at The Bookcase and hear Melanie Heuiser Hill read stories of ugly, smelly, hungry, merciless ogres! This is a special summer storytime event that will include crafts and some longer stories! Best for school-aged kids, but younger children are welcome to attend as well!

June 20 - LIVE MUSIC: Tina and Her Pony

We're excited to welcome Tina and Her Pony to The Bookcase during their CD release tour! They will be at The Bookcase on June 20 at 7 p.m.

June 23 - Helene Wecker, author of THE GOLEM AND THE JINI

We're thrilled to welcome Helen Wecker to The Bookcase to read from her debut novel, THE GOLEM AND THE JINNI, on June 23 and 2 p.m.

June 24 - Princess Party Storytime

Bring your princesses to The Bookcase on Monday, June 24 at 7 p.m. for storytime and crafts fit for royalty! Princess Palooza will be read, along with other classic princess books, by Melanie Heuiser Hill, our regular storytime reader. Costumes are encouraged!
